Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Clearpath Oak Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Jacksonville. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around supply orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
