Accountant - revenue reconciliation (remote)

Silverline Junction Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Phoenix, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to rent assistance, and clear open items. • Track costs around maintenance stores against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Phoenix. • We reply to every applicant.
