Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Raleigh, NC)

Highbridge Pike Pharma develops and makes medicines in Raleigh. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 942 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around batch records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory filings. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Raleigh. • We reply to every applicant.
