Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Raleigh, NC)

Summit Pine Pharma Group supports drug development and manufacturing around Raleigh. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around release testing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to quality documentation, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
