Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Silverline Lakeside Transit Planning and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Track costs around fare systems against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to accessibility audits, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
