Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Thistle Pharma develops and makes medicines in Providence, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 298 people based in Providence. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to regulatory filings, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
