Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Linden Telecom is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around field visits against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing accounts, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
