Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Ridge Medical Partners and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Track costs around training materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical evaluations, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
