Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Pittsburgh, PA)

Summit Linden Banking Services Group is a regional lender in Pittsburgh with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 464 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Track costs around card disputes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
