Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Phoenix, AZ)

Silverline Granite Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Phoenix. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Housing is our mission and residents are our neighbours. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to maintenance stores, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around repair requests against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
