Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Phoenix, AZ)

Bright Vale Staffing Group is a Phoenix staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 131 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to temp assignments, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with temp assignments. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
