Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Phoenix, AZ)

Ironwood Keystone Care Services supports families and individuals in Phoenix with personal care and coordination, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Track costs around caregiver training against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with visit scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
