Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood River Staffing connects candidates and employers across the Phoenix region, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around onboarding against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with candidate screening. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
