Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Phoenix, AZ)

Clearpath Lantern Insurance is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to claims, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around premium billing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
