Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Philadelphia, PA)

Summit Lantern Learning Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for learning materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around family communication against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to learning materials, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with learning materials.
