Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Omaha, NE)

Nova Wilder Housing is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for lease compliance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to lease compliance, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with lease compliance. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
