Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Omaha, NE)

Greenridge Corner Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Omaha. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around production lots against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
