Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Omaha, NE)

Westbrook Oak Legal Group provides legal services in Omaha across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to court deadlines, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with court deadlines. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
