Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Silverline Granite Auto Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service appointments, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
