Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Omaha, NE)

Greenridge Mill Environmental Services Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around collection routes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
