Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Oklahoma City, OK)

Clearpath Wren Civic Services works with county and city offices around Oklahoma City. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around procurement against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with permits.
