Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Rook Manufacturing Partners is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to machine downtime, and clear open items. • Track costs around work orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
