Accountant - revenue reconciliation (New Orleans, LA)

Highbridge River Pharma develops and makes medicines in New Orleans. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 86 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around regulatory filings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to clinical studies, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with clinical studies. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
