Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Harbor Inspection Services and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to certifications, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
