Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Nashville, TN)

Harborlight Thistle Press is a printer and publisher in Nashville serving local and national clients. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to proofing, and clear open items. • Track costs around press runs against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville. • We reply to every applicant.
