Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Nashville, TN)

Bright Rowan Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Nashville, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
