Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Rowan Health Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with referrals. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
