Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Nashville, TN)

Nova Drift Banking Services Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Most people here started in a branch and stayed. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to deposit accounts, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
