Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Minneapolis, MN)

Foxglove Meridian Environmental Services is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for fleet maintenance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around recycling loads against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
