Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Minneapolis, MN)

Rivermark Loom Medical is a Minneapolis company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around regulatory submissions against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to training materials, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with training materials. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
