Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Orchard Transit Planning Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around service alerts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with survey data.
