Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Milwaukee, WI)

Redstone Quarry Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Milwaukee region, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 717 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around packing house output against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with grower contracts. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
