Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Quill Inspection Services is an inspection company in Milwaukee with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 100 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Track costs around client sites against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Milwaukee. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
