Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Milwaukee, WI)

Northwind Pike Markets is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 687 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around supplier deliveries against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
