Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Miami, FL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Nest Markets and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Track costs around shrink and waste against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to pricing, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Miami, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
