Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Miami, FL)

Clearpath Beacon Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Miami, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around classroom supplies against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to tuition and subsidies, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
