Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Miami, FL)

Clearpath West Energy Partners delivers power and gas plans across the Miami region, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to meter readings, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami. • We reply to every applicant.
