Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Miami, FL)

Bright Sable Property Management looks after rental homes across the Miami area. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Residents are neighbours, not numbers. What you will do • Track costs around vendor invoices against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to resident events, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with resident events. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
