Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Memphis, TN)

Westbrook Glen Care Services Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We train and promote from within. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
