Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Madison, WI)

Lumen Glen Banking Services Group is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around branch operations against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with loan files. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
