Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Madison, WI)

Harborlight Sparrow Health is looking for an Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for referrals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Madison. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to referrals, and clear open items. • Track costs around patient scheduling against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with referrals. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
