Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Louisville, KY)

Foxglove Beacon Manufacturing Group is a Louisville manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 596 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to machine downtime, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
