Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Louisville, KY)

Nova Quarry Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Louisville, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around client records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Louisville. • We reply to every applicant.
