Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Louisville, KY)

Ironwood Oak Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Louisville. We are hiring an Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with reviews and feedback. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
