Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Silverline Construction and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around change orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
