Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Louisville, KY)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Linden Banking Services and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around loan files against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with card disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Louisville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
