Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Little Rock, AR)

Rivermark Beacon Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Little Rock supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around donor records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to grant reporting, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
