Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Little Rock, AR)

Lumen Amber Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Little Rock, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Track costs around customer complaints against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to premium billing, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
