Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Little Rock, AR)

Amberfield Maple Insurance is an insurance company in Little Rock with claims and service teams, and we need an Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around policy renewals against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Little Rock. • We reply to every applicant.
