Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Little Rock, AR)

We are growing our team at Northwind Timber Learning Group and adding an Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 694 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around enrolment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to learning materials, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
